Three forms of magnesium — bisglycinate, malate and citrate — in one vegan capsule. 300mg elemental magnesium per serving, no fillers, no magnesium oxide.
Why three forms
Most magnesium supplements use a single compound, and many use magnesium oxide because it is cheap and inflates the elemental magnesium figure on the label. Oxide is poorly absorbed. We use three better-absorbed forms instead:
- Bisglycinate — magnesium bound to glycine. Well absorbed and gentle on the stomach.
- Malate — magnesium bound to malic acid, which occurs naturally in fruit.
- Citrate — magnesium bound to citric acid. Well absorbed and widely used.
What magnesium does
Magnesium contributes to normal muscle function, to normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to normal psychological function, and to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.
What is in it
Serving size: 2 capsules. 30 servings per pouch.
| Per serving | Amount | % NRV |
|---|---|---|
| Magnesium (as bisglycinate, malate, citrate) | 300mg elemental | 80% |
Other ingredients: vegetable capsule shell (hydroxypropyl methylcellulose). Nothing else — no magnesium stearate, no silicon dioxide, no flow agents, no fillers.
Allergens: free from gluten, dairy, wheat and soy. Suitable for vegans.
How to take it
Two capsules daily with water. Many people prefer the evening, with or without food. Do not exceed the stated daily intake.
Common questions
What is the difference between magnesium glycinate, citrate and malate?
They are the same mineral bound to different partner molecules, and the partner affects absorption and tolerance. Bisglycinate is the gentlest on the stomach. Citrate is well absorbed and can loosen stools at higher doses. Malate is bound to malic acid. Using all three means you are not relying on a single absorption pathway.
Is magnesium glycinate the same as bisglycinate?
Yes. They are the same compound — magnesium bound to two glycine molecules — sold under two names. There is no reason to pay more for one label over the other.
How much magnesium should I take a day?
UK reference intakes are around 300mg a day for men and 270mg for women, and food should supply most of that. The NHS advises that up to 400mg a day from supplements is unlikely to cause harm. Our serving provides 300mg elemental magnesium.
Should I take magnesium in the morning or at night?
There is no requirement either way. Most people take it in the evening because it fits their routine. Consistency matters more than timing.
Can I take it on an empty stomach?
Yes. If you find any magnesium supplement unsettling, taking it with food usually helps.
Why does the label say 80% NRV rather than 100%?
NRV is the EU/UK reference value of 375mg. Our 300mg serving is 80% of that, which sits comfortably within the daily reference intake for most adults alongside magnesium from food.
Is it vegan?
Yes. The capsule shell is plant-based HPMC and there are no animal-derived ingredients.
Does the pouch fit through a letterbox?
Yes. Our pouches are designed to fit standard UK letterboxes, so you do not need to be in.
Food supplement. Not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store in a cool, dry place. Keep out of reach of children.

Daily Steam™ FAQ
How long does one steamer last?
Each Daily Steam™ is designed to last for one full shower. Dissolving time can vary depending on water flow and how long you’re in the shower.
Can I use it every day?
Yes. Daily Steam™ is made for regular, everyday use.
Where should I place the steamer?
Place it on the shower floor, away from direct water spray. Steam will activate the scent.

Does it leave residue in the shower?
No. The steamer dissolves cleanly with water and steam.
Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Shower steamers are for aromatic use only and are not applied directly to the skin.
