What is in it

Three parts working together:

• Enzyme blend — 16 plant and fungal enzymes covering protein, carbohydrate, fat, fibre and lactose, including bromelain, amylase, protease, lipase, lactase and cellulase.
• Pre- and probiotic matrix — organic inulin and acacia fibre with Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus coagulans and Bacillus clausii.
• Botanicals — organic peppermint leaf and organic ginger root.

How to take it

Two capsules daily, immediately before or during your largest meal. Not on a completely empty stomach.

Common questions

When should I take digestive enzymes?

With food — right before or during your first few bites. Enzymes work on what you eat, so taking them apart from a meal gives them nothing to act on. Taken on an empty stomach they are more likely to feel unsettling.

What is the difference between digestive enzymes and probiotics?

They do different jobs. Enzymes help break food down into smaller components. Probiotics are live organisms that contribute to the balance of gut bacteria. This formula contains both.

Can I take them every day?

Yes, at the stated intake of two capsules daily. Do not exceed it.

Do they need refrigerating?

No. Keep the pouch sealed and store in a cool, dry place away from humidity and heat.

Can I take them alongside other supplements?

There is no general reason not to. If you take prescription medication — particularly blood thinners or diabetes medication — or have an existing digestive condition, speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting any enzyme supplement.

Why 16 enzymes rather than three or four?

Different enzymes act on different components of food. A broader blend covers protein, starch, fat, fibre and lactose rather than one category. Every enzyme and its quantity is listed above — no proprietary blend.

Is it vegan?

Yes. The enzymes are plant and fungal derived and the capsule shell is plant-based HPMC.

Does it leave residue in the shower?
No. The steamer dissolves cleanly with water and steam.

Is this safe for sensitive skin?
Shower steamers are for aromatic use only and are not applied directly to the skin.

Can I use this in the bath?
Daily Steam™ is made specifically for showers. For baths, we recommend bath salts instead.
