What these nutrients do

Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal skin, and to normal macronutrient metabolism. Vitamin A and vitamin B2 contribute to the maintenance of normal skin. Vitamins B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Two capsules daily with water, alongside a morning meal.

Can you take biotin and collagen together?

Yes — they are commonly combined and there are no known interactions between them. This formula contains both, so you do not need to buy them separately.

Is marine collagen suitable for vegetarians or vegans?

No. Marine collagen comes from fish skin and scales, so it is not vegetarian or vegan. There is no plant source of true collagen. The capsule shell here is plant-based, but the contents are not.

Can I take this if I have a fish allergy?

No. This product contains marine collagen and is not suitable for anyone with a fish allergy.

How long should I take it for?

Hair and nails grow slowly, so any supplement in this category is generally assessed over a period of months rather than weeks. Consistency matters more than dose.

Should I take it with food?

With a meal is easiest on the stomach, and this formula contains vitamins A and D3, which are fat-soluble and absorbed better alongside food.

Why is biotin listed at 10,000% NRV?

Biotin is water-soluble and the reference value is very low at 50µg, so high-strength biotin products routinely show large percentages. Worth knowing: high-dose biotin can interfere with certain laboratory blood tests. Tell your doctor you take it if you are having bloods done.

Can I take it while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Speak to your midwife or GP first. This product contains vitamin A, and intake of vitamin A is specifically monitored during pregnancy.
