What essential amino acids are

Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Nine of them are classed as essential because the body cannot make them — they have to come from diet. This formula provides all nine in free-form, meaning they are already isolated rather than bound up in a larger protein that has to be broken down first.

How to take it

Two capsules daily with water. On training days, many people take them after exercise. On rest days, in the morning.

Common questions

What is the difference between EAAs and BCAAs?

BCAAs are three of the nine essential amino acids — leucine, isoleucine and valine. EAAs are all nine. This product contains the full set, so the BCAAs are included rather than bought separately.

Do I need amino acids if I already eat enough protein?

If your diet consistently provides enough complete protein, you are already getting all nine. Amino acid supplements are typically used by people training in a calorie deficit, eating a plant-based diet, or training fasted — situations where total protein intake is harder to hit.

Why capsules rather than powder?

Free-form amino acids taste extremely bitter, which is why most powders are heavily flavoured and sweetened. Capsules avoid that entirely.

When should I take them?

There is no requirement. Around training or in the morning both work. Daily consistency matters more than precise timing.

Can I take them on an empty stomach?

Yes. Free-form amino acids do not need to be broken down first, so they are commonly taken fasted.

Are they vegan?

Yes. The amino acids are fermentation-derived and the capsule shell is plant-based HPMC.

Can I take them with other supplements?

There is no general reason not to. If you take prescription medication or have a medical condition, check with your GP or pharmacist first.

Does the pouch fit through a letterbox?
